Group 2's MR. ACCOUNTING!!

He does not have wings, nor does he wear his underwear outside. He is a perfectly normal guy, who wears a suit and neatly starched pants, carrying a bag filled with only pens and papers, he’s known as a genius. His best friends are numbers and he can calculate as fast as lightning.

His name is *drum roll* … Mr Accounting!!!!

Have you ever heard of Mr. Accounting ? I’m sure you have not. No one has ever seen his face, so we don’t know whether he is handsome or not. But since he is brilliant with numbers, let’s just assume he is good looking. He has photographic memory, where he can memories books after looking at it once for five seconds. His eyes can work as a scanning machine, just like those at the supermarket cashier. One look at the book’s bar code and he can recite the entire content of the book. However, it only applies to accounting books. Don’t get frustrated or sad when you cannot balance up your balance sheet, because Mr Accounting is always here to help.

But!, as perfect as he is, He has a deep dark secret. He is in Love with Miss Accounting!! Awwwwww!

However, one day, Mr. Accounting’s best friend and side kick Mr. Add Maths found out about Mr. Accounting’s secret. Out of Jealousy Mr, Add Maths ( who likes Miss Accounting too), kidnaps Miss Accounting to his not-so-secret lair- His house basement.

The minute Mr. Accounting found out, he immediately rushed to Mr Add Math’s house with his Nissan Daihatsu and demanded he release Ms Accounting. Being the evil and cunning person he is, he wouldn’t just give her back. Mr. Add Maths challenged Mr. Accounting to an accounting tournament!!. The Battle lasted for hours. In the end, Mr. Add Maths made a careless mistake and his balance sheet did not ….gasp balance! Mr Accounting emerged victorious.

Once Ms. Accounting heard the news, she jumped straight into Mr. Accounting’s arms and lived happily ever after.

  5. Ok two very common stereo types.

    1. the hero always get's the girl. So yeah Irene is a very predictable plot line isn't it.

    2. in star wars episode 4. Luke Skywalker the protagonist falls for the Princess, Leia. only to find out in the Second episode that she's his sister ewwwww!

I can think of a few Hindi movies that end in that way also haha.

Question@ Irene: Why do you think the hero gets the girl at the end? Is it like a reward thing?

  6. butbut from the korean drama Autumn in my Heart, those two lovely birds are siblings, and it wasn't that eeeeww-ing afterall :D

mm.. it could be reward but I prefer thinking it as a stereotype ending where writer wants to live up to reader's expectation , which is a happy ending -- hero gets the girl.

  7. because the main character is Mr. Accounting.. n normally heroic story end up with happy ending.. so do the story of Mr. Accounting.. hero owes get the girl.. otherwise, reader like me wont satisfy with the story..wakakaka~~

  8. Ah so the story is written for our satisfaction. So the questions is why does the Hero always get the girl.

If it's not a reward then it must be something else. Like a need that all of us want really badly maybe?

  11. There's totally alot of stereo types there for sure Esarrol. I mean tons of shows and movies have this best friend falls in love with your GF thing going on. Or 2 girls who are BFFs falling in love with a guy. I'm sure after reading these different stories you begin to realize how much the stories of heroes are bound to things that we experience in real life too.

  14. Heh...its always nice and dandy to read a happy ending...but I personally prefer a darker ending...well,thats just me...because I prefer a much more realistic ending which is usually rather dark...compared to the fictional ones, which are happy, cheerful and etc etc...but this is after all a fictional story...so yeah sure its fine..
