Here's another installment for our blogs!! Some of you have seen this powerful video in class already, but I would love to further discuss it's effect on us throughout this week as well.
I have a few questions that might help direct our discussions as we go along.
1) What do you think about the portrayal of the video?
2) How do you feel about it's message? Are you surprised that this kind of thing still happens
today? Why?
3) The issue we talked about in class was about how basic human rights and workers rights were slowly formulated and championed by people in the Victorian era i.e. people like Charles
Dickens. How do you think we can be part of ending this problem in our era?
